QA Manual

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual software testing, including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), based on detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with functional requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Utilize bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla to document, track, and resolve defects.
• Conduct basic SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity.
• Execute API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Prepare and present comprehensive test reports summarizing testing progress, coverage, and defect trends.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

Experience:

• More than 2 years of professional experience in manual software testing.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of the SDLC and STLC processes.
• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Knowledge of basic SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-team interaction.
