QA Lead

Role Summary:

As a QA Lead, you will oversee the quality assurance process to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of reliability, functionality, and performance. By combining manual and automated testing methodologies, you will lead a team in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive testing strategies. Your expertise in software testing processes, tools, and leadership will be pivotal in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet user expectations and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Lead and mentor QA team members in applying manual and automated testing practices.
• Oversee the use of test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or TestRail for efficient testing.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution using platforms like JIRA.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and address software quality issues.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionality through rigorous testing processes.
• Promote continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  1. At least 1–2 years of experience as a QA Lead.
  2. Strong background in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Technical Skills:
  1. Proficiency with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JIRA, TestRail).
  2. Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
  3. Ability to create and execute detailed test strategies and plans.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Strong leadership capabilities to guide and mentor QA teams.
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Proven ability to manage QA processes for complex software projects.
• Familiarity with Agile and iterative development methodologies.
• Adaptability to dynamic and fast-paced development environments.
