Role Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and automating our infrastructure to support seamless software development and deployment processes. With a focus on CI/CD pipelines, scalable infrastructure, and proactive system monitoring, your work will enhance efficiency, reliability, and security. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will implement innovative solutions to streamline workflows and maintain high system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions with Terraform or Ansible for scalable deployments.
- Manage and optimize infrastructure across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement and maintain containerization solutions (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Automate operational tasks with Linux shell scripting and ensure version control best practices with Git.
- Set up monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to manage system health proactively.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize software development workflows and ensure high system availability.
- Apply and maintain security best practices for cloud and on-premises environments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in DevOps, focusing on CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficient in Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Solid understanding of security best practices for infrastructure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities in a fast-paced, improvement-driven environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven track record of maintaining scalable and high-performing infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and strong adaptability to evolving technologies.
