Role Summary:

As a Developer Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will provide technical leadership, guide architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of innovative and efficient software products aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence
  • Design and implement robust software architectures using modern technologies
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from conception to deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute technical strategies
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of software solutions
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in development processes

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or Information Technology
  • Experience:
    1. At least 1-2 years of experience as a Developer Lead
    2. Proven track record of leading technical teams
    3. Hands-on experience in software development projects
  • Technical Skills:
    1. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React Native, Angular, or React JS
    2. Knowledge of microservices architecture
    3. Understanding of messaging systems
    4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines
    5. Familiarity with DevSecOps mechanisms
    6. Working knowledge of AWS services (SES, S3)
    7. Recommended expertise in Quarkus framework

Personal Skills:

  • Strong leadership and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication with ability to influence
  • Experience managing teams using Agile principles
  • Preferably with knowledge of insurance domain
  • Stays current with IT industry trends
  • Willing to work in a WFO (Work From Office) environment
