Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines and architectures.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (Redis, Cassandra).
• Develop and maintain robust systems using programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Implement and manage message queueing systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, MQTT, etc.).
• Leverage big data tools and platforms like Hadoop, Spark, GCP Big Data Suite (BigQuery, DataFlow, Pub/Sub, Composer).
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability, availability, and scalability.
• Monitor and debug data systems in a UNIX environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Data Engineer role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in SQL and database technologies (relational and NoSQL).
  • Hands-on experience with message queueing systems and big data tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
