Role Summary:

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive business decisions and insights. With a focus on data mapping, modeling, and visualization, you will ensure data accuracy and deliver actionable intelligence to support strategic objectives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will analyze complex datasets and provide meaningful insights using advanced analytics and visualization tools. Your meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in data management will contribute to the success of projects in the insurance, financial, or digital business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data mapping, modeling, and validation to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain OLAP models and data warehouses for optimized reporting and analysis.
  • Create insightful data visualizations using tools such as Power BI and other visualization tools.
  • Utilize SQL Server, BigQuery, and Excel to extract, transform, and analyze data.
  • Apply statistical methods and analytics using R or Python to uncover trends and insights.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement data-driven strategies and solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and compliance requirements in data analysis.
  • Drive innovation in data management processes to support business goals in insurance, financial, or digital business environments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in data analysis and modeling.
  • Technical Skills:
    1. Strong proficiency in SQL Server, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
    2. Experience with R or Python for statistical analysis and advanced data modeling.
    3. Knowledge of OLAP models, data mapping, and data modeling techniques.
    4. Familiarity with BigQuery and tools for handling large datasets.
    5. Solid understanding of accounting standards and their application in data analysis.
    6. Exposure to the insurance, financial, or digital business domains.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.

Personal Skills:

  • Extremely meticulous in approach to work, ensuring accuracy and precision in deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing data-driven insights that drive business decisions.
  • Familiarity with evolving tools and technologies in data analytics and visualization.
  • Strong adaptability to dynamic business environments and emerging trends.
