About the Role

BINAR is looking for a Business Development professional with expertise in learning design and consulting. This role combines consultative sales, client relationship management, and instructional design expertise to drive impactful B2B education and training solutions. If you have experience in digital consulting, learning design, and business development, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

General Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, digital consulting, or learning consulting, preferably in B2B education services or corporate training.
  • Familiarity with learning design principles, such as Bloom's Taxonomy, ADDIE Model, and Experiential Learning.
  • Proven experience in selling and delivering corporate learning solutions, particularly in digital transformation and technology training.
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills with the ability to translate client needs into tailored learning solutions.
  • Excellent relationship management skills to engage with corporate clients, decision-makers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with people development consultant, learning designers, tech consultants, and project managers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Proficiency in Excel / Spreadsheet and other business analysis tools to track sales, pricing, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales (Client Acquisition & Solution Development)

  • Lead Generation: Identify and acquire new business opportunities through outbound efforts, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage in strategic conversations to understand client challenges and present BINAR’s learning solutions that align with their goals.
  • Proposal Development: Work closely with learning consultant, learning designers and tech consultants to craft customized proposals and learning solutions for corporate clients.
  • Pricing & Negotiation: Develop competitive pricing strategies and lead negotiations to close deals.

2. Post-Sales (Project Implementation & Client Support)

  • Project Preparation: Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and project setup.
  • Execution Support: Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing any challenges and ensuring project success and satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Maintain clear and transparent communication with clients, providing progress updates and performance reports.

3. Client Retention & Growth

  • Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, ensuring high engagement and client satisfaction.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities for additional training solutions and expand partnerships with existing clients.
  • Market & Trend Analysis: Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in digital learning to offer innovative learning solutions.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen with experience in B2B education services or corporate training solutions.
  • Ability to synthesize client needs into actionable learning objectives and translate them into strategic learning solutions.
  • Experience conducting Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) for corporate clients.
  • Skilled in designing proposal and costing for digital transformation and technology training.
  • Ability to develop both static (documents, presentations) and dynamic (videos, animations) learning assets.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, working with SMEs, trainers, and corporate decision-makers.
  • Ability to evaluate learning effectiveness, monitor outcomes, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to engage clients, learning teams, and executives.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points!)

+ Experience in digital transformation, emerging technologies, or SaaS-based learning solutions.
+ Knowledge of corporate training technologies (LMS, e-learning platforms, AI-driven learning solutions).
+ Experience managing end-to-end learning projects from design to execution.
