Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable big data processing applications.

Implement efficient and reliable data processing pipelines on cloud.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans including unit tests, system integration tests, and user acceptance tests.

Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed systems and processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.

Optimize application performance and resource utilization.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practice.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development.

Strong proficiency in any object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, etc).

Experience with big data processing or distributed systems is a plus.

Willingness and ability to learn Scala and Apache Spark.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).

Strong testing skills including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong documentation skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Experience with data processing or ETL workflows is a plus.
